研究概要：NIR（近赤外分光法）を用いてサトウキビの植物体中に含まれる窒素，リン酸，カリウムなどの肥料成分を迅速に測定し，さらに，RS（リモートセンシング）を用いて圃場全体の作物の分布状態を把握し，それらのデータをGIS（地理情報システム）で解析することによって，圃場の状態に合わせて，施肥量だけでなく，成分を調整して施肥を行うシステムを開発した。
