研究概要（和文）：日本中世期における経学、すなわち儒家の経典に対する解釈の状況の把握を目的に据え、明経博士家として中世期の経学の方面で主流たる地位を占めた清原家を主要な対象として、その経学の内実と実態解明を実施した。同時に、中世禅林における易学に対しても講義記録などを手がかりに検討を加え、その解釈の特徴と時代思潮との関わりについて解明した。さらには、年号決定のための評議の場において口誦された年号勘文集成書により、当時の漢籍の訓読やその背景にある漢学のあり方について考察した。
研究概要（英文） : This research project deals with scholarly condition concerning the Chinese classical study in Japan during the medieval period, mainly aiming at giving detailed outline of the study of the Kiyoharas who, generation after generation, continued to maintain the position of professors at national university, therefore regarded as the authority on the Chinese classical study. On the other hand this project deals with the study of the book of changes among Zen Buddhists, clarifying the characteristic of their interpretation and its intercourse with the trend of thought of the day by using the records of lectures. Moreover, the project team investigates the style of kun-doku (reading classical Chinese texts as classical Japanese texts) of the day and the condition of the study, which determines the style of kun-doku by researching the collective records of the council meeting at court on era name.
