1990年代後半以降、日本の若年労働市場は著しい変貌を遂げている。本調査研究「日本における若者のコーホート調査」は、若者の職場での社会的地位や仕事場の労働環境、家族の背景や社会関係資本、ジェンダーに焦点を当てて、彼らの移行の状況を把握する試みである。初年度の2007年には現在の彼らの状況をおさえるとともに、その後、かれらの移行が、どのような要因に規定されているのかを経年的に、広く分析している。
研究概要（英文） : The Japanese youth labor market has changed dramatically since the late 1990s. Our analyses, The Youth Cohort Study focus on the job status and working conditions, familial background, gender, and he social capital.
