研究概要（和文）：ラット脊髄虚血モデルを用い脊髄虚血後くも膜下モルヒネ投与による痙性対麻痺への一酸化窒素の関与について検討した。モルヒネ30mg （M群）では投与後2時間から対麻痺となりその後運動機能は回復しなかった。一方、モルヒネとODQ （MI群）では対麻痺となることはなく投与後72時間目で歩行可能であった。ラット脊髄虚血後くも膜下モルヒネによる痙性対麻痺にモルヒネ-NO-sGC-cGMPという反応系の重要性が確認された。
研究概要（英文）：Our previous study showed that opioid receptor activation even after short-lasting spinal cord ischemia in the rat could cause irreversible paraplegia. This study elucidated the relationship between nitric oxide and morhine inducing paraplegia after spinal cord ischemia. While IT morphine alone could induce irreversible paraplegia, the combination between IT morphine and ODQ failed to induce neurological deficit. Our results suggested that nitric oxide-guanylate cyclase-cGMP pathway should be involved in the inducing paraplegia.
