Note (General): 琉球大学教育学部と那覇市教育委員会との協定による連携協力事業の一環として那覇市の小学校で理科出前授業を依頼された。筆者らが講師となり２つの小学校で５，６年生を対象に物理・化学領域に関する実験教室を実施した。児童による事後評価の結果から，児童の期待以上の満足度が得られたと評価できる。しかし，実験そのものが失敗したり，児童の理解力を超えたレベルの内容で行ったり，疑問に十分に応えないなど説明が不十分だったりすることが原因となり不満に感じる児童がいた。また，普段と異なる年齢層と対応する際の筆者らの話術や説明内容・方法には工夫の余地がある。
