本年度学長裁量教育研究では、継続研究の初年度として適切なテーマ設定を行うため、着任初年度である各メンバーによる資料収集や長崎県内を中心とする地域への視察・ヒアリング、関係者との関係づくりを主たる目的とした。　具体的には、波佐見・佐世保・松浦・平戸・伊万里などといった長崎県内外の地域への視察・ヒアリングや、高知大学など特色ある取り組みを行っている大学、研究者からのヒアリング・情報収集を重ねた。その成果として、各地域の“地域リーダー”と呼べる地域活性化の担い手の存在に着目し、学内に招聘して講演会を開催した他、地域の活動を、彼らを軸とした諸システムの総体として捉え分析する視点など、次年度に向けたテーマが得られている。各自の得られたテーマをもとに、次年度以降の成果へとつなげていくこととしたい。
