本研究では，学生の主体的な学びを支える心理的概念として納得感を取り上げた。納得感とは，様々な他者とのやり取りの中で，学習の場や自身の状況を適切に意味づけ，納得していく過程を指し，有用感，充実感，向上感，達成感，効力感などの多様な心理的感覚を包含するものである。　しかしながら既報では，納得感の構成概念は，長年の教育実践から見出されたものを探索的にまとめた段階にとどまっていることから，本研究では，学生からの自由記述により納得感や満足感のとらえ方を明らかにし，その構成概念を再考するとともに，評価方法の開発につなげることを目的とした。　まず，満足感と納得感の同異について尋ねた結果，多くの学生が二者を異なるものとして捉えていることが明らかになった。また，満足感と納得感が得られる時について尋ねた結果，満足感は，テストの結果に反映されたときや学んだことが日常生活に役立った時など，自身のアウトプットが有効であった時に得られる感覚として捉えられていることが示された。一方，納得感は，内容が理解できた時や学んだことが体験と重なった時など，自身のインプットとの関わりの中で生じる感覚であることが示唆された。
