情報セキュリティ対策を推進するうえで，経営者による情報セキュリティ対策導入や個人のセキュリティ対策実施などにおいて，個人の意思決定が，重要な役割を果たす．意思決定の研究は複数の学術領域でなされているが，特に情報セキュリティに関連するリスクに際しての個人の意思決定の研究は，多くはない．本研究では，経済学や社会心理学領域の研究を援用し，サイバーリスクに対する個人の認知を，特に現在バイアス、楽観性バイアスなどのヒューリスティックや時間非整合性に焦点を当て仮説を設定し社会調査を実施し，統計学的に分析した。その結果、時間割引率と情報セキュリティ行動の間の関係を求めることができなかった。また、楽観性バイアスに関しては、測定法によって、セキュリティ行動との関係の有無が異なった。さらに、海外で開発されたセキュリティ行動尺度が国内でも有効であることが明らかになった。
