本研究は、長崎県内の中小企業の輸出促進を目的とし、各種輸出支援策の経済的効果を分析するものである。国内市場の縮小に伴い、中小企業の輸出拡大は不可欠だが、外部や内部環境の課題から積極的に取り組めていない。また日本政府や地方自治体は輸出支援策を展開しているが、その効果は十分に検証されていない。そのため、輸出支援策が中小企業の成長につながっているかを明らかにする。初年度の成果として、日本の中小企業の国際化研究をレビューした。また、福岡県の中小企業に対するヒアリング調査を実施し、外国人留学生の活用が企業の国際化に寄与する可能性を示した。インドネシアでは輸出支援機関や中小企業の調査を行い、ネットワーク形成が輸出促進に重要であることを確認した。さらに、日本国内3県301社にアンケート調査を実施しており、今後、分析の予定である。
