Note (General): 平成25年～26年にかけて,福井県越前市吉野地区および福井市南居町の農村部において,人々の環境保全に対する意識を探るべくアンケート調査を行った.吉野地区の人々はコウノトリに対する正しい知識を持ち,一方,南居町の人々はメダカに対して愛着があることがわかった.これら農村に住んでいる人々の生き物に対する目は概して温かいといえる. しかし,実際にこれらの生き物を守るべく,自分たちが汗を流して積極的に保護活動を始めようという域には達していなかった.行政が主導すれば人々は参加すると考えられるので,環境保全に対する行政の役割は依然として高いものと結論付けられた.
