Note (General): 最近の二酸化炭素の排出量規制をはじめとする、環境意識・省エネ意識の高まりは、自動車や電化製品など多くの工業製品に反映されている。自動車の場合は燃費などによりある程度実感できるが、電化製品の場合はどの器具がどれくらい消費しているかの実感がつかめず、電気料の総額でしか判断できないことが多い。今回の研修では各電化製品がどれくらい電力を消費し、電気代はどれくらいかかっているかが視覚的にわかる消費電力モニターシステムを製作し、省エネ意識をさらに高めることを目的とした。
