Note (General): Far-infrared (FIR) gas lasers are used as radiation sources in measurement system working in the FIR wave lelengh region. Over 4000 lines belonging to this region have been reported so far. At the same time there is a lack of information concerning the available lasing lines, power levels and their dependency on the pressure. We have development of a cw FIR laser system operating with high power and high stability. Development of a data-base which includes different characteristics of cw FIR lasers is in progress now.
