Note (General): High magnetic field ESR measurements of SrCu2(PO4)2 have been preformed at temperatures ranging from 4.2 K to 77 K. The temperature dependence of the integrated intensity suggests that a transition to an excited state take place. It has also been found that the integrated intensity has a broad maximum around 40 K. Such observation is consistent with the results from the analysis of the susceptibility. The quantitative description gives resonances in the lowest triplet state of excitation spectrum of a 4-spin alternating chain configuration.
