Note (General): We have measured the transmission and the reflection of the semiconductor plates: Si and GaAs, for the millimeter wave form the Gunn diode oscillator (115GHz) in the quasi-optical method. The waveforms of the transmission and the reflection are modulated in pulse width of 20μs for Si and 20 ns for GaAs by the irradiation of the nano-seconds pulsed Laser beam density of 100 mJ/cm2 for both Si and GaAs thin plate gives the modulation more than 90%. We design the optical system for the rectangular nano-pulse microwave forming to develop the techniques of the pulsed electron spin resonance (ESR) measurements system with the high power radiation source Gyrotron.
