Note (General): In order to obtain a detector and mixer with high sensitivity in the THz region, slot antenna coupled Schottky barrier diodes were fabricated, and harmonic mixing experiments were carried out in the 94GHz millimeter wave region. The data were then compared with the theoretical calculation. The good agreement between theoretical calculation and experiments provides strong evidence that the fabricated device works as a harmonic detector and mixer in the millimeter wave region.
