Note (General): Gyrotron FU CW V was designed and constructed as a radiation source for direct measurement on hyperfine structure (HFS) of positronium. The designed cavity mode is TE_<031>. The observed frequency is 203.0 GHz and the output power arouod 0.6 kW. The operation is in complete CW or long pulse mode. This gyrotron is suitable for a preliminary study on the first measurement of the HFS, because the estimated energy level difference of positronium is around 203.4 GHz.
