Note (General): The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is a useful tool for the analysis of protein. However, in order to complete the measurement of complicated protein molecules it takes much time because of low sensitivity of NMR. Now a day, Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) is used as a key technology to enhance the sensitivity. To achieve the DNP enhanced NMR spectroscopy, a high power radiation in sub-THz region is required. There are some radiation sources in this region, but most of radiation sources are not powerful. Gyrotron is only one radiation source which is available for DNP. We have developed the Gyrotron FU CW VII for 300 MHz and 600 MHz DNP-NMR spectroscopy. The radius and the length of the cavity are 2.175 mm and 19 mm, respectively. Designed cavity mode is TE4,2 mode with the frequency f = 203.75 GHz at the fundamental cyclotron resonance and TE1,6 mode with f = 395.28 GHz at the second harmonic resonance. A 9.2 T Superconducting magnet is used for this gyrotron. The construction was finished and the operation test was competed successfully.
