Note (General): 青年期男女に乳幼児との継続接触体験を実施し,親性育成効果を明らかにすることを目的とした。18~20歳の健康な出産・育児経験のない青年期男女19人(男性9人,女性10人)を対象に縦断的介入研究を実施した。データ収集方法は, 1)質問紙調査:対象者の特性, 2)乳幼児との継続接触体験の実施, 3)体験初期・中期・後期における育児技術・乳幼児の印象・乳幼児との関係性および体験後の感想について,半構成的質問紙調査を行った。その結果,体験を重ねるごとに,乳幼児の特徴の理解や乳幼児への好意感情,受容,関係性が構築され,乳幼児を肯定的に受け止める記述内容が増加した。これらのことから,継続的なふれあい育児体験が親性育成に肯定的に影響していることが明らかとなった。しかし,体験初期や体験後の感想では,戸惑いや緊張,困難を感じていたり,否定的な認識を持つ対象者も見られたことから,十分な事前・実施中・事後のかかわりが必要と考える。
