Note (General): アルミニウムアルコキシドを用いたゾルーゲル法によリポリプロピレン繊維にアルミナ膜をコーティングした。アルコキシド濃度に対して最適条件を検討した。 SEM観察からアルミナ膜は繊維に均一にコーティングされていた。アルミナ膜の厚さはアルミニウムアルコキシドの濃度と共に増加したが、高濃度ではアルミナ膜の剥離や亀裂が起きた。アルミナ膜でコーティングした繊維を用いてコンクリートを作製した。コンクリートの力学特性におけるコーティングの効果を検討した。ポリプロピレン繊維をアルミナ膜でコーティングすることによリコンクリートの曲げ強度および靭性は改善された。これは、アルミナコーティングによリコンクリート中でのポリプロピレン繊維の分散性が向上したことに起因していた。 Alumina film was coated on the polypropylene fibers by sol-gel method using aluminum alkoxide solution. The optimum coating condition for the concentration of aluminum alkoxide was investigated. SEM observation indicated that alumina film was uniformly coated on polypropylene fibers. Thickness of alumina film increased with increasing the concentration of aluminum alkoxide. The peel and track were observed in alumina film at higher concentration of aluminum alkoxide. The concrete was produced using alumina film coated polypropylene fibers. The effect of coating on the mechanical property of concrete was investigated. The bending strength and toughness of concrete were improved by coating alumina film on the polypropylene fiber. This resulted in high dispersibility of alumina film coated polypropylene fiber in the concrete.
