• Note (General): "Type of passing through the public room" (pass through LDK to reach the private room of second floor from the entrance) increase rapidly take the place of "type of independent path" (not pass through LDK) at ready-built house in recent years. In this paper verified the difference of housing consciousness and living style of residents of two types by questionnaire survey to the residents in the ready-built houses built in Fukui urban area in recent years. Difference of housing consciousness of two types appear to the selection reason and the valued actor of house. Difference of living style of two types appear to the frequency and the time of "study and play of children" in LDK
