Note (General): C 型肝炎ウイルス(HCV)は肝細胞のみならずB 細胞にも感染し、non-Hodgkin's lymphoma を引き起こすと考えられているが、発症メカニズムは不明である。本研究では培養B 細胞に HCV 蛋白質を安定発現させた細胞株を樹立し解析を行ったが、HCV 蛋白質に会合する宿主蛋白質を同定するには至らなかった。現在別のモデル実験系を用いて解析を進行中である。平行してHCV 感染により発現量が変化する宿主蛋白質をプロテオーム解析にて同定し、その結果に基づく解析を行った。その結果、HCV 複製が、細胞内エネルギーセンサーAMPK の活性化を介するメカニズムと、そうでないものが明かとなった。さらに慢性C 型肝炎の合併症である糖尿病の治療を行うことが、慢性C 型肝炎の治療に有効である可能性が示唆され、治療法確立に向けて、更なる研究の継続が必要であると考えられた。
