Note (General): 本研究では、分娩時の外陰部消毒のあり方を見直すための基礎調査として、水道水を用いた簡便な外陰部消毒方法の効果を検討することを目的とした。健康女性10 名を対象に、水道水、塩化ベンザルコニウム(BAC)、ポビドンヨード(PVI)の3 方法による外陰部消毒を行い、前後に細菌培養検査を実施し比較検討した。その結果、水道水とBAC では、消毒前後で菌量に有意差は見られず、PVIでは、S.epidermidis とCorynebacterium において、消毒後に有意に菌量の減少が見られた。また消毒後、S.epidermidis は、PVI が水道水とBAC に比べて有意に少なく、Corynebacterium は、PVIが水道水に比べて有意に少なかった。以上より、水道水清拭では除菌効果は見られず、消毒薬であるBACも効果がないこと、またPVIは常在菌叢を破壊する可能性が示唆された。
