• Note (General): リミットサイクル振動子の同期現象の理論的な解析手法は，理学および工学の多くの分野でその需要がある．しかし，従来の手法の適用範囲は限定されており，特に，振動子が受ける外力のクラスが厳しく限定され，この点が実験系への理論的解析の適用を困難にしている．本論文の目的は，従来の理論的手法を拡張し，より広いクラスの外力に対して適用できるようにすることである． 一章では，論文全体の構成と各部の関連について述べる．本論文は大きく二つに分けることができる．まず，前半部分（二，三章）では，近年発見されたノイズ同期現象を取り上げ，その理論的な解析手法および制御手法を提案する．さらに，後半部分（四章）では，位相縮約法と呼ばれる，あらゆる同期現象の解析に関わる基礎的な理論自体の拡張を行い，同期現象解析の適用範囲を拡大する． 二章では，ノイズ同期現象の理論的な解析手法を提案する．従来手法は白色ノイズの場合のみ有効であったが，本論文では，有色ノイズの場合への拡張を行う．実効白色ノイズ近似によって共通ノイズを受ける二つの振動子の位相差の確率分布が導出され，この分布によってノイズ同期現象の統計的性質が特徴づけられる．提案手法により，特徴的な周波数を持つノイズが振動子と共鳴のような現象を示すことや，高周波成分を強く持つノイズによってクラスタ同期状態が形成されることが示される． 三章では，二章の知見を応用し，ノイズ同期現象の統計的性質を制御するための理論的手法を提案する．提案手法では，各振動子が受け取るノイズ信号に線形フィルタを適用することにより，所望の同期パターンの実現を可能にする．また，所望の同期パターンを得るための最適フィルタを設計する． 四章では，位相縮約法の拡張を行う．位相縮約法は，高次元の状態を持つリミットサイクル振動子を，位相方程式とよばれる一次元の方程式に低次元化する縮約理論である．これまで同期現象の解析において重要な役割を演じてきたが，振動子が受ける入力が十分弱い場合にしか適用できないという欠点がある．本論文では，入力によって振動子の持つ周期軌道が歪む効果を考慮することによって，一般化位相縮約法を提案する．提案手法は従来手法に比べて数十〜数百倍の強度を持つ入力に対してもロバストである．提案した一般化位相縮約法を注入同期現象の解析に適用し，その有効性を示す． 五章では，論文全体をまとめ，各部で得られた成果の意義および今後の展開について論じる．また，付録では，二章および四章の結果の詳細な導出，誤差評価，公式の導出を行う．; Theoretical methods for analyzing synchronization of limit-cycle oscillators are in great demand in many fields of science and engineering. However, the applicability of the theoretical methods to experimental systems has been limited. In particular, the class of external forcing is restricted in the theoretical analysis of synchronization. The aim of this thesis is to extend the class of external forcing for which synchronization dynamics can be analyzed. The first part deals with a new type of synchronization, called noise-induced synchronization, for which theoretical analysis has been limited to the case of white-noise forcing. Using an effective white-noise approximation, an extended quantitative method for analyzing colored-noise cases is proposed. In addition, a method for designing and controlling noise-induced synchronization patterns is proposed on the basis of our quantitative theory. In the control method, desired synchronization patterns can be realized by applying a linear filter to noisy signals. The linear filter is optimized for realizing the desired synchronization patterns. In the second part, the fundamental theory for analyzing the synchronization dynamics itself, called the phase reduction method, is extended so that it can deal with strongly driven oscillators. In this method, the deformation of the stable periodic orbit of the oscillator due to the strong external input is taken into account. Thus, the proposed method is robust even for strong external inputs. This extension is not only useful for analyzing noise-induced synchronization, but also for analyzing other types of synchronization, e.g., injection locking and mutual synchronization of the oscillators.
