- 学長特別研究費地域の文化力を高める静岡県の西部に位置し、遠州の小京都と言われる森町に残る歴史的な町家や蔵を調査し、森町住民と共にワークショップを開催して、歴史的な景観資源を活かした地域活性化策について研究した。 現在、秋葉街道沿いに形成された森町には、古い町家や路地沿いの蔵、常夜灯、寺社等、歴史を感じさせる施設が残っている。しかし、中心市街地においては、住民が郊外へと移転し、空家や空き地が増え、古い街並みの維持・保全が大きな課題となっている。そこで、この歴史的資源を現地調査し、実際に中心市街地に住む多くの町民を巻き込み、森町の歴史的資源を活かしたイベント「街並みと蔵展」を開催した。identifier:17-学長-4
