SPAC(静岡県舞台芸術センター)の創立以来、15年にわたる活動を、長期的かつ学術的な観点から評価し、SPAC15年史として報告書を作成する。さらに、その結果に基づいて日本における地域演劇のあり方について提言を試みる。
23年度には予備調査、公演及び事業活動に関する各種データの整理を行ったまた、舞台作品と公共文化施設としての両面から評価を行うため、23年度にはまず演劇研究者、評論家に報告を依頼し、併せて劇場関係者や自治体関係者への聞き取り調査等を行った。　引き続き24年度には、以上の成果を踏まえて、アートマネジメント、劇場運営の専門家に分析・報告を依頼し、「SPACの15年」として報告書を刊行するための作業を行った。
SPACの15年の活動を舞台作品の評価と公共文化施設運営の評価という総合的な視点から分析した独自の報告書を作成することができた。　本学にとっては、同じ静岡県内にあって全国でも独自の運営方法を取るSPACの活動について、学術的な観点から分析し、評価できたことは大きな意義があった。　また、SPACにとっても15年の活動の成果を客観的に評価し、記録を残すことができた点で、非常に有益な研究であった。
