Note (General): 島根県の加温栽培‘デラウェア’で行われている発芽促進を目的とした高温処理の基礎的知見を得るために，切り枝を用いて処理方式（連続，間欠），処理温度および処理時間が発芽促進に及ぼす影響を調査した．その結果，時期別（11月，12月，1月）に35°Cおよび40°Cの高温処理を行ったところ，11月の高温処理では，35°Cの48時間および40°Cの24，48時間処理で，発芽率が対照区（23°C 12 h明期／18°C 12 h／暗期）より向上した．12月，1月処理では24時間および48時間処理の発芽所要日数が，8時間処理より有意に少なくなった．また，40°Cの高温処理における発芽所要日数は，35°Cの高温処理より有意に少なくなった．さらに，間欠処理の発芽所要日数は，連続処理より有意に多かった．35°Cより低い温度での発芽促進効果を明らかにするため，時期別に25°C，30°Cおよび35°Cの高温処理を行った．その結果，11月，12月および1月処理で，25°Cの高温処理における発芽所要日数が，30°Cおよび35°Cより有意に多くなった．また，11月処理では24時間処理の発芽所要日数が，48時間および68時間処理より有意に多かった．12月処理では処理時間による発芽所要日数に有意な差はなく，92時間の長時間処理で発芽率が低下した．1月処理では24と48時間処理の発芽所要日数に差はなく，68時間と92時間処理では発芽率が低下した．以上のことから，各時期とも高温処理によって，発芽率向上効果や発芽促進効果のあることが明らかになり，その程度は処理時間や処理温度で異なった．
