世界的金融危機や格差の拡大により, ポスト・ケインズ派やマルクス派は一時的には注目を集めたものの, 主流派に対抗できるほどの大きなうねりを生み出しているわけではない。現代のポスト・ケインズ派の経済学者は, 金融部門の影響の拡大を金融化(financialization)と呼び, 理論的実証的に精力的な研究を行っている。金融化に関する諸研究は, 主として金融化が進展しているか, また進展している場合には資本蓄積にどのような効果を持つかということに関心が向けられている。本稿は, それらの諸研究とは若干異なった視点で, 金融資産の蓄積と経済の不安定性の関係を理論的実証的に検討する。我が国のバブル経済やアメリカのサブプライム問題による経験が示すように, 金融資産等が実体経済に影響を与えているということには疑いの余地はないであろう。本稿では, 確信の不安定性と金融資産の蓄積を考慮したマクロ動学モデルを構築して金融の不安定性, 循環を検討する。そして, 日本経済を対象として構造VAR モデルを適用し, 経済の構造変化を実証的に検討する。
