本稿の課題は北朝鮮の最貧困層である体制批判者の状態が、どのような仕組みで決定されているかについて北朝鮮当局公表資料と、元住民の手記を用いて検討することである。北朝鮮では体制批判者、「敵対分子」は処刑ないしは政治犯収容所や山間僻地に連行される。これは「敵対分子」が自主性を失った人間だから動物と変わらず、彼らを動物のように扱うことこそ首領様の信任に応えることだという意味世界を、朝鮮労働党幹部が心中に保持しているからである。北朝鮮の住民は体制を批判すると過酷に扱われることを前提にして、言動を決定している。
