Note (General): 東日本大震災では，多様な組織に多くの寄付が集まったが，その資金の流れに関する実態は十分に把握されていない．2012 年6 月12 日時点で，3,677億円を超える寄付が義援金として各都道県に送金された．他方，民間組織などが支援活動を行う援助金に充てられる活動支援金については，寄付の流れを含む全体像の把握が十分に行われていないうえに，資金の透明性に対する指摘も少なくない．そこで，本研究において，多様な民間組織における寄付の資金フローについて調査を行った結果，民間組織を経由した寄付は総額6,200 億円に上るほか，これまで義援金と比較して小規模とされてきた活動支援金にも718億円が集まったことが明らかになった．さらに，資金の流れから，民間組織が多様な組織に寄付を循環させ資金を補完する機能を有することも確認された．
