Note (General): 本研究では、『就業構造基本調査』の個票データを用いて、最低賃金が就業と貧困に与える影響について分析を行った。最低賃金の引き上げが就業に与える影響はつぎの３点にまとめられる。（１）15歳から19歳の男性就業率を低下させる。（２）50歳以上の労働者では雇用就業率を低下させ、自営業・内職就業率を上昇させる。（３）多くの労働者の労働時間を減少させる。一方、最低賃金が貧困に与える影響として、第１に最低賃金で働いている労働者のうち貧困ラインを下回るものは貧困者のうち約１５％にすぎないこと、第2に、最低賃金を引き上げると貧困率を上昇させることを明らかにした。
