Note (General): 新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）の感染拡大が、都市の全域において人口変化に負の影響を与える可能性がある。特に、都市の中心近くでは人と人との接触の機会が多いために、その影響も大きくなることが考えられる。その結果、都市内の人口分布も変化する可能性がある。そこで、本稿は緯度と経度に関して一定の幅で区切った地域メッシュの人口を用いて、COVID-19 が都市内の人口分布に与えた影響を固定効果モデルによるパネルデータ分析により検証した。分析の結果、COVID-19 の流行が地域メッシュ人口の変化に負の影響を与えること、そして都市の中心からの距離が長くなるほどその影響の度合いは小さくなることがわかった。
