東欧ロシア地域の史学史研究の基本文献であるニーデルハウゼル『東欧ロシア史学史』を全訳するとともに、そこで言及されている1 万件ほどの東欧ロシア地域の歴史学文献を整理して検索可能にすることにより、当該地域に関する歴史研究のための基礎的情報を提示した。同書は、この地域の歴史叙述がおもに国民史を中心にして形成されてきたことを明らかにするとともに、史学史を比較検討することで国民史の相対化の一方法も示している。本研究ではさらに、歴史叙述の主体や枠組みに注目することにより、このような国民史的歴史叙述を再検討する可能性を示した。
We laid the groundwork for Russian and East European historical research bytranslating Emil Niederhauser's East European Historiography into Japanese from Hungarian and by creating a bibliographical catalogue with some 10,000 records of all historical literature mentioned in the book. Although Niederhauser's work pointed to national frameworks of the historical writings in this region, it also showed a method of transnational study by comparing national historical writings. Furthermore, to review national historical writings, we discussed the significance of the narrators and the frameworks of historical writings.
