小学校英語活動のための、特性を生かした教員養成のためのカリキュラムの設計を目指すことを目的とした。具体的には、1)ICT活用による基礎英語力を養成、2)デジタル教材の作成と活用、3)サポート活動の実施、4)コア人材養成カリキュラムの構築、を行った。さらに、今後小学校で教科として「英語」が導入された際、発達段階に応じた心理学的側面、国語などの他教科との関連も考慮に入れた統合的カリキュラム開発を行った。
The purpose of this research project is to create an ideal teacher training curriculum based on the requirements for elementary school English activities. Specifically, we hope to 1) cultivate baseic English skills through ICT training; 2) create and utilize digital materials; 3) implemet support activities; and 4) construct a curriculum for core teacher training. We are also attempting to develop an integrated curriculum in relation to other subjects, considering the psychological aspects of students' developmental stages in order to prepare them for the time at which "English" is introduced as a subject in elemetary school.
