研究成果の概要は以下のとおり中山環やQF環の一般化である原田環の視点から、中山環やQF環を研究することは、これら古典的アルチン環の研究にとって、今や欠くことにできない方法である。また、中山環やQF環の持つ性質を、原田環が持つかという問題も解決しなくてはならない大きな問題である。そのような問題のひとつとして、森田自己双対性の問題がある。つまり、「中山環が持つ森田自己双対性を、原田環は持つのか」という問題である。長年の懸案であったこの問題は、近年「一般には持つとは限らない」ことが証明された。本研究では、原田環に付加条件を付けることにより、森田自己双対性を持たせることができるのか?ただし、考える付加条件は、条件を付加した原田環が中山環の一般化のまま、という条件を満たしたままのものにかぎる、という問題の研究を行った。今年度は、両側原田環に対して、その左右の原田ブロックが同じ場所で境界を持たないという条件についての考察を行った。その結果、そのような原田環の構造は明らかなり、弱対称性の森田自己双対性を持つことが示された。また、山口大学の大城教授と共同執筆中のQF環・中山環・原田環に関するレクチャー・ノートは、完成直前まで書き上げることができた。このレクチャー・ノートは、Fullerの定理周辺問題、原田環の自己双対性の問題、原田環の視点からの古典的アルチン環の構造問題について書かれているが、未発表の重要定理も多く、この研究分野を新たな視点で総括するものと言える。
