• Note (General): 摂関政治の最盛期に活躍した、慶滋為政は、この時期の文人としては珍しく、漢文と和文(仮名文)の両様の和歌序を残している。為政の序の特質の一つは、漢文と和文の差を超えて、序の内容や表現が近似していることである。もう一つの特質としては、下命する歌会の主宰者への配慮が、作品の表現、さらには、漢文、和文の選択を大きく規制していることが挙げられる。; Yoshishige no Tamemasa was a literary bureaucrat active at the height of the regency period. This paper will analyze the Chinese and Japanese waka poetry prefaces written by Tamemasa and highlight their distinctive characteristics. One distinctive feature of Tamemasa's prefaces is that the Chinese and Japanese prefaces are extremely similar to each other. Another is the consideration for the chairman at the gathering who requested the prefaces and introduced major restrictions in terms of the expressions used in the works that follow, as well as the selection of Chinese or Japanese language.
