Note (General): 8月3日：JARE56のエアロゾル越冬観測、JARE57夏時期に行ったエアロゾル観測、JARE57の越冬観測状況の報告が行われ、現状の確認と改善・対応点の議論を行った。次に第Ⅸ期の南極観測計画の紹介およびJARE58の夏・越冬期に実施予定の観測計画の紹介を行い、今後の予定の確認、相互の観測体制の調整、議論がなされた。8月4日：これまでに進められた観測結果・解析・分析結果の紹介と討論が行われ、各観測データ間の比較や今後の解析方針の確認した。さらに今後の観測研究計画に向け、各担当者から、これまでの研究から得られた知見と今後の研究すべき課題の紹介と議論する時間を設け、”南極エアロゾルの現状”をとりまとめた。
