- 出版タイプ： NA融合プロジェクトに所属していた昨年度までに、アイスコア中の化石花粉を全ゲノム増幅法によりDNA分析するための手法を開発した。現在、より古い花粉でのDNA分析に取り組んでいる。これまで研究に使用してきた、ロシア・アルタイ山脈ベルーハ氷河で採取されたアイスコであるが、今年度に入り、ようやく年代決定の論文が出版された（Aizen et al., Journal of Glaciology, 2016）。そして、最深部（171.3 m深)付近は10950BCと報告された。これにともない、前回発表した1600年代の花粉は470年前の花粉となった。現在、最深部近くの氷試料から花粉の抽出を試みている。最深部の層から花粉は一切見られないが、ダストは多く含まれている。これは、年代決定通り、氷期の試料であることを示唆しているかもしれない。約4873年前の層（164.146-164.186m深）から見つかったモミ属花粉については全ゲノム増幅に成功した。増幅は良好であり、葉緑体上の様々な領域で塩基配列の解読に成功した。また、配列は全てモミ属のものであることも確認した。現在、種を決定するためのプライマーの選定作業に取り組んでいる。Polar Meteorology and Glaciology Group seminar / 気水圏コロキウム 日時：11月9日（水）10:00-10:50 場所：C301（3階セミナー室）
