- 本研究の柱は教員勤務実態調査で得られたデータの再分析、訪問調査から構成されている。データの再分析は研究会メンバーの研究者・大学院生が行ったほか、その一部はベネッセ教育研究開発センター教育調査室に委託された。訪問調査は、佐賀県佐賀市内の複数の小中学校を対象に行った。今回の訪問調査は同一自治体で異なる属性の学校を対象とした。これは地域の特徴を同一のものとすることで、学校運営の特徴がどのように教員の業務に影響を与えているのかを考察するための研究戦略を反映したものである。集中的に訪問調査を実施することで学校の特徴と教員の仕事の在り方の関係について、一定の知見を得ることができた。
