Note (General)
小学校第３学年時は学年児童数が41人（20人学級及び21人学級）だったのが、第４学年に進級する際に学年児童数が39人（39人学級）になった児童を対象に、「１学期を振り返って」という内容の学級活動を実施（平成24年７月）するなどして児童の意見を分析するとともに、教員への聞き取り調査を実施。学級活動中に用いたワークシートの自由記述のアイディア・ユニット数を比較した結果、「よかったと思うことやよさ」については96個、「困ったことや大変だなと思うこと」については198個。児童１人当たりでは前者は2.5個、後者は5.2個で、学級規模の拡大や単学級になったことで困ったことの方が倍以上だった。
