- 国立教育政策研究所では、所の研究成果を教育現場をはじめとして広く普及し、教育指導法の改善や教員の資質向上などに役立てていただくという趣旨により、平成2年より教育研究公開シンポジウムを開催している。 今回の第22回教育研究公開シンポジウムは、「確かな学力と生きる力をはぐくむ指導」というテーマにより、徳島県教育研修センターのご協力を得て開催した。 昨今は学力をめぐる報道等に影響を受け、新学習指導要領のもとで行われる指導の在り方にとまどいを感じる保護者や教師は少なくない。このたびのシンポジウムは、当研究所がこれまでに実施した学力調査の結果をもとに、我が国の学力の現状と課題を分析し、生きる力と生きる力の知の側面である確かな学力をはぐくむ指導をどのようにしたらよいのかをご議論していただくこととした。当日は、徳島県下の教育関係者を中心に340名もの参加者を得て、活発な議論が行われた。 本報告書は、このシンポジウムにおける基調報告および討論の内容をまとめたものである。
