更埴条里水田址は、平安時代の水田跡が検出される遺跡として認識されているが、今回の調査地点では過去におこなわれた圃場整備事業等により上部が削平されており、水田跡の検出はできなかった。 　下層からは弥生時代中期後半の土坑や溝跡などが検出され、2号土坑は直径1m70cm程を測る円錐状に掘られた土坑で井戸跡...
