Note (General): 本調査は、松崎遺跡の西端および上浜田遺跡の東端を連続して調査したものである。松崎遺跡では、知多式1類および4類段階の製塩に伴う炉跡などの作業場を想定することができた。各段階の廃棄層・貝層を確認することができた一方、作業に伴う竪穴建物跡を検出することができた。さらに、古代における埋葬人骨の出土など、土器製塩とそれに関連する空間利用について、好資料を得ることができた。上浜田遺跡としては、廃棄層の端部と考えられる包含層および貝層を検出した。
