Note (General): 昭和 42（1967）年に発掘調査を行い、平成 22 ～ 24 年度に保存処理を行った金属製品について報告した。九州に分布の中心がある方格Ｔ字鏡、類例の少ない半球形飾金具、朝鮮半島南部との関わりが想定される錫装矛、鉤状鉄製品が確認された。また、豊富な武器、武具、農工具を持つ。遺物から古墳の築造は古墳時代中期中葉から後葉の ON46（TK208 古段階）型式期から TK208 型式期と考えられ、九州の影響が強く、近畿中央部、朝鮮半島南部との関わりも認められる。被葬者は志摩地域の海上交通を差配したと考えられ、後続する古墳群の形成に重要な役割を果たしたと考えられる。
