本発掘調査の結果、確認調査時に発見された2基の古墳も含めて新たに4基（宮ノ谷55～58号墳）の古墳を確認し、そのうちの3基（56～58号墳）が道路工事範囲内の丘陵斜面に存在していた。宮ノ谷56号墳は墳丘の約1/3が土取りにより削られており、かろうじて木棺直葬の主体部が残存していた。鉄刀子が副葬された...
