宍粟郡を支配した播磨の有力国人宇野氏の居館とされた遺跡を調査。調査の結果、これまで知られていなかった宇野氏滅亡以後の城郭遺構を検出。特に検出された石垣遺構は織豊期の石垣であり、貴重な発見となった。石垣は下端部のみではあるが長さ35ｍにわたって残されており、この時期の石垣遺構を考えるうえで重要である。...
