Note (General): 12世紀後半以降に経塚が営まれ、遅くとも13世紀代には立派な火葬施設と方形周溝墓を含む火葬墓がＡ地区に造られた。14 ～ 15世紀代に墓域が拡大すると、火葬土抗は徐々にＢ・Ｃ地区へと移行し、火葬場と墓地が分離して範囲が広がると共に、16世紀代には石塔も林立するようになる。その間に納骨堂も出現、その劃期の一つは15世紀後半代と16世紀後半代にあった。ある時期には多数の遺体を一斉に荼毘に付した可能性も考えられる。最終的に、一部は近世初頭～前葉にまで続いた痕跡があり、納骨をするだけの霊山と化した可能性も一概には排除できない。
