Note (General): 〔遺跡〕古墳時代前期の水田跡と古墳時代の竪穴住居跡58棟やV字溝・井戸等、及び自然の大溝や沼沢地・旧河道から古墳時代前期を中心とした土器や木製品が多数出土した。奈良時代の横板組井戸からは、土器や木製品等が出土した。平安時代後期から鎌倉時代にかけての掘立柱建物54棟と井戸・柱列及び条里溝や道・墓坑が検出され、主屋と副屋・倉等と屋敷地の区画も明らかになった。〔報告書〕報告書は3分冊に別れており、その主な内容は下記のとおりである。第一分冊（既刊）：古墳時代の水田跡と大溝・沼沢地・旧河道の遺構と木製品。　第二分冊（既刊）：飛鳥時代以降の遺構と遺物、及び附論1～5.　第三分冊（当書）：第一分冊を除く古墳時代以前の遺構と遺物。
