Note (General): 今回の調査区は、県第４次調査の6 区～ 8 区の東西隣接地であり遺跡の南辺部に当たる。今回の発掘調査の結果、前回の調査時に検出された弥生時代の溝状遺構の続き及び弥生時代前期・中期の大型土壙を検出した。ただし、調査区の南1/3 の範囲には弥生時代の遺構は認められず、弥生時代においては集落跡の南限と考えられる。ただし、この範囲からは中世の掘立柱建物跡が検出され、中世段階では弥生時代に比べ集落範囲が南へ広がっていることがうかがえる。
