Note (General)：: 奄美大島の最北部，笠利半島の東海岸，標高約12mの砂丘上に位置します。竜郷-新奄美空港線の改良工事に伴って調査されました。縄文時代の遺跡です。集石遺構7基のほか，面縄前庭式・面縄東洞式・嘉徳式・曽畑式・松山式土器のほか，石器や貝製品，イノシシやマガモなどの動物や魚類の骨が見つかりました。
