御堂谷遺跡は、弥生時代前期後半から奈良・平安時代にかけての遺構・遺物が断続的に検出されている。弥生時代前期後半の明確な遺構は確認されていないが、標高約53ｍの谷状地形に堆積した包含層から、多数の弥生土器が出土している。その後、弥生時代中期末～後期前半にかけて、２～３世帯程度の単位集団の集落が営まれ、...
